Hey Lynch I would stay away from the Mantis. Heres the deal, you want to buy something that parts will be easy to find. The Traxxas T-Maxx is your best bet. The Mantis is way over priced for what you get. The T-Maxx has been the top seller for years. Trust me it's what I started with and I still have it along with a few others. Did I mention that the T-Maxx will blow the doors off the Mantis anyway. Go to www.Traxxas.com and follow the links to the T-Maxx. You wont be dissapointed, oh by the way it has a reverse as well.
